Fairview Overpass Construction Project Update

(Friday, February 26, 2010) - As a result of the Province of Nova Scotia's construction project on the Fairview Overpass, motorist are advised, commencing Monday, March 1st and continuing to Sunday, March 7th , the following lane and street closures will be in effect, for the purposes of installing the new bridge girders.

Monday and Tuesday, March 1 and 2
Fairview Overpass - reduction to one lane inbound and one lane outbound between 9 am - 3 pm

Joseph Howe Drive ramp under Fairview Overpass - periodic closures during placement of girders over Joseph Howe Drive ( ~ 5 times for up to 15 minutes each) between 9 am - 3 pm.

 

Wednesday and Thursday, March 3 and 4
Fairview Overpass - reduction to one lane inbound and one lane outbound between 9 am - 3 pm

Joseph Howe Drive ramp under Fairview Overpass - no lane closures.

 

Friday, March 5th.
No lane closure planned, however depending on progress, reduction to one lane inbound and one lane outbound on the Fairview Overpass, if required between 9 am - 3 pm

 

Saturday and Sunday, March 6and 7
Joseph Howe Drive ramp under Fairview Overpass - closed between 7 am Saturday to 6 pm Sunday
