Grand Parade Stairs to be Repaired

(Monday, April 19, 2010) – The well-travelled stairs from Argyle Street to the Grand Parade need some urgent repairs.

The work will take place over the next two weeks. The stairs are expected to be ready for foot traffic again by the first of May.

Coastal Restoration has been awarded the contract. The company will put a temporary set of steps next to the permanent ones to keep the pedestrian route open while the job is underway.
