Victoria Day Solid Waste Collection Notice

(Wednesday, May 19, 2010) B Residents of HRM are reminded that regular municipal solid waste collection services will be provided on Victoria Day, Monday, May 24, 2010. Collection of garbage, organics or recyclables normally scheduled on Victoria Day, Monday, May 24th will occur as usual.

The Otter Lake Waste Processing and Disposal Facility, the two Composting Facilities and the HRM Recycling Plant at 20 Horseshoe Lake Drive will be open on Victoria Day, Monday, May 24th with normal operating hours.

The Halifax Regional Municipality’s residential Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot will be open on Saturday, May 22nd from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
