Halifax Road Construction
(Friday, June 11, 2010) - Attention motorists, on or about Monday, June 14th road work on Dunbrack St. and Kearney Lake Rd, from Highway#102 to Ross St. will require lane reductions.
The duration of this work is approximately 5 days. The hours of work will be 7AM-6PM.
This work is to allow for investigation and locating of access points in the road in preparation for the water main sliplining project being undertaken in the next few weeks by Dexter Construction on behalf of Halifax Water.
During this preliminary phase of the project 2 lane, 2 way traffic flow will be maintained. There will be no loss of municipal services.
Sidewalks on the opposite side of the work zone will be maintained.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow. On site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption.
Motorists are asked to use alternate routes.
