Washmill Lake Court Detour to Open Saturday

(Friday, July 23, 2010) Tomorrow (July 24), beginning at sunrise through to 3 pm, there will be road construction on Highway 102 at Washmill Lake Court (between Exit 1A (Exit to Highway 103) and Exit 2A (Exit to Lacewood)).

This work will take place in both the Northbound (Bedford Bound) and Southbound (Halifax Bound) lanes and will result in lane reductions.

Once completed, a detour road will be opened and will remain in place for approximately five months. The motoring public should be aware that there will also be speed reductions during this work which will continue while the detour is in place.

Motorists should expect delays and are requested to find alternate routes, if possible. HRM apologizes in advance for any inconvenience these delays may cause.
