Construction This Weekend on MacKay Bridge

(Wednesday, August 4, 2010) – On Saturday, August 7 and continuing until Sunday, August 8 (weather permitting), there will be road construction taking place on the Halifax side of the bridge ramps at the MacKay Bridge.  During this time, there will be lane drops with stop-and-go traffic between the hours of 5 am and 10 pm.  Access from Massachusetts Avenue onto Barrington Street and from Barrington Street onto Massachusetts Avenue will be closed during this work. 

Motorists are requested to find alternate routes.  HRM apologizes in advance for any inconvenience these delays may cause.
