Road Construction - Bedford Highway

(Wednesday, August 25, 2010) - On Thursday, August 26 there will be road construction taking place during the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Bedford Highway from Hammonds Plains Road to Shore Road. Work will begin at the intersection of Bedford Highway @ Hammonds Plains. The intersection lights will be shut down during this period and traffic control will be in place. Once this work is completed, roadwork will continue to the intersection of the Bedford Highway @ Convoy Run. Once at this intersection, the traffic signals will be shut down and traffic control will be in place at that location.

During this time there will be stop and go traffic. Motorists should expect delays and are requested to find alternate routes if possible.
