HRM/Halifax Water Advisory

Power Back on at Pock Wock Water Supply, 2:10 p.m.

(Sept. 4, 2010) - Please be advised that power has been restored at the Halifax Water Pock Wock Water Supply,
the plant that supplies water to communities on the Western side of Halifax Harbour, including Halifax, Fairviiew, Bedford-Sackville and other communities.

All reservoirs for Halifax Water were topped up before the storm hit and wastewater plants are set up to operate on generators in the event of power failures.
