Point Pleasant Park - Tower Road Parking Lot Improvement Project

(Friday, September 10, 2010) - Beginning Monday, September 13, 2010, the Tower Road parking lot and Tower Road entrances to Point Pleasant Park will be closed due to construction.

Work will include:
· parking lot reconstruction and repaving;
· accessibility upgrades;
· improved lighting;
· improved sidewalks and entrance.

Alternate entrances are located along Point Pleasant Drive, Francklyn Street, and Chain Rock Drive.

The work is scheduled to take 4 weeks.

This infrastructure renewal project has been made possible by the generous assistance of the Canada-Nova Scotia Infrastructure Program.
