Natural Gas Pipeline Installation - Bedford Highway, Kent St. to Larry Uteck Blvd.

(Thursday, September 23/10)-- Motorists are advised that, Heritage Gas, in conjunction with its contractors R.B. Sommerville and Ocean Contracting, will be paving on Bedford Highway between Kent St and Charlotte Lane, and undertaking a pipeline crossing between Charlotte Lane and Larry Uteck Boulevard. This work is part of the final phases of a natural gas pipeline transmission project along Bedford Highway.

This work and the width of the roadway through this area requires that traffic be limited to one lane stop and go. To minimize traffic impacts and alleviate traffic and safety concerns, construction will take place on the night of September 23 the hours of 6 PM and 6 AM.

Where possible, motorists should plan alternate routes for the time of this construction.
