Traffic Advisory - Highway 102/Larry Uteck Interchange soon open to motorists

(Thursday, September 30, 2010) - The Highway 102/Larry Uteck interchange is nearing completion, but there remain several components that need to be finished before the interchange can be safely opened to the public. Public safety is paramount and having the necessary and completed infrastructure in place for the protection of everyone is essential. It is important for drivers to stay out of the construction area for their own safety and the safety of construction crews.

Halifax Regional Municipality and the Nova Scotia Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal are working together to complete the connection between the interchange and Larry Uteck Boulevard as soon as possible. It is anticipated the interchange will open in October.
