Dunbrack Street Road Construction

(Friday, October 15, 2010) - Attention motorists, on or about Monday, October 18th road work on Dunbrack St. from Farnham Gate Rd. to Ross St. will require lane reductions.

The duration of this work is approximately 3 weeks.

The hours of work will be 7AM-6PM.

This work is to allow for final reconnection activity via excavation pits previously dug in this area, and is part of the water main sliplining project being undertaken by Dexter Construction on behalf of Halifax Water.

Two lane, two way traffic flow will be maintained. All traffic will be re-routed to inbound lanes. There will be no loss of municipal services.

Sidewalk access will be maintained.

Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow. On site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption.
Motorists are asked to use alternate routes where possible and to proceed carefully through the work zone. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones and to use added caution when driving through school zones.

We apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure work may cause.
