Point Pleasant Park trail tour cancelled

(Friday, October 15, 2010) - Residents of HRM are advised that the Point Pleasant Park guided trail tour scheduled for Saturday, October 16th, has been cancelled due to expected heavy rain and high winds. The trail tour scheduled for Sunday, October 17th at Sir Sandford Fleming Park will go ahead as planned. Those wishing to participate in that tour should meet at the canteen in Sir Sandford Fleming Park at 2p.m.

All trail tours will be a total of one hour in length. Be sure to dress for the weather, wear comfortable footwear and bring snacks and water for you and your family.

In addition to these tours, there will be two more tours taking place in HRM on October 23rd and 24th to launch the new Get Out...Check It Out booklet. To get more information on trails in HRM and information on our guided trail tours, please visit www.halifax.ca.
