Residents Urged to Clear Catch Basins with Heavy Rains on the Way

(November 3, 2010) - With heavy rain and wind predicted for Thursday through to Sunday, HRM urges residents to take some time to ensure catch basins in front of their property are clear and free from leaves to help prevent flooding.

If the weather is severe, municipal operations crews will be on standby to respond to fallen limbs or flooding. Residents can report information on either, at 490-4000.
