Bayers Rd. Water Main Break Repairs

(Wednesday, November 24, 2010) - Halifax Water crews are currently on-site repairing a water main break in the area of Bayers Rd. and Desmond Ave. in Halifax.

Water service is being maintained, though local customers may experience reduced pressure until repairs are completed.

Crews expect to have the water main break repaired late this evening.

Motorists are asked to use alternate routes if possible, and to proceed with caution through the work zone. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.

Pedestrians should also use caution walking adjacent to the work zone.
