Chain Lake Dr. Force Main Break Repairs

(Friday, December 3, 2010) - Halifax Water crews are currently on-site repairing a force main break in the west (inbound) bound lane of Chain Lake Dr. adjacent to Costco in Halifax.

Water service is not affected.

The 2 west (inbound) lanes are currently reduced to 1 lane traffic flows. Crews will try to keep one inbound open to traffic flow during repairs.

Crews expect to have the force main break repaired around 12 midnight this evening.

Motorists are asked to use alternate routes if possible, and to proceed with caution through the work zone. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.

Pedestrians should also use caution walking near the work zone.
