Councillor Mosher Announces Leave for Recovery from Surgery

(December 22, 2010) -District 17 Councillor Linda Mosher announced today, Dec. 22, that she will be on leave from her duties as councillor following major back surgery Thursday (Dec. 23) and during the required recovery period following that procedure.

“My back surgery will require me to be away from Council for an extended period of time,” Councillor Mosher said. “I ask for the understanding of District 17 residents during my recovery period.”

The councillor noted that during her absence, citizens of the Purcell’s Cove-Armdale area can alternatively contact HRM’s Corporate Call Centre at 490-4000 or District 18 Councillor Stephen Adams or the Councillor’s Support Office, both at 490-4050.

“I want to take this opportunity to wish all the residents of District 17 safe and happy holiday season and a wonderful New Year.”
