Windsor and Young Streets-Water Main Break Repairs

(Monday, January 17, 2011) - Halifax Water crews are currently on-site repairing a water main break at the corner of Windsor St & Young St.

Customers in the area of 6407 - 6577 Bayers Rd, approximately 25 residences, are currently without water service. Affected customers have been notified. Crews expect to have the water main break repaired sometime in the early morning hours of Tuesday morning.

There is no disruption to traffic as a result of the water main break as the break and repair work is taking place off street.

Halifax Water apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this water main break.
