Statement from Councillor Reg Rankin

(Tuesday, April 5, 2011) - After significant personal reflection and through the on-going support of my family and friends, I have made the decision to seek professional help and medical treatment; therefore, I will take leave from Council effective Tuesday, April 5, 2011.

I would respectfully request privacy for me and my family during this time.

As this is a personal matter, I will be making no further statement.
