Repairs to the Alderney Ferry Terminal
(Friday, April 29, 2011) - The Alderney Ferry Terminal Ramp in Dartmouth is currently undergoing scheduled repairs leading from the terminal down to the ferry docking area.
Passengers are reminded that due to the marine environment, materials used during the project may have significant odour. While measures are in place to help regulate the environmental impact, persons with sensitivities to strong solvents are urged to use caution and may wish to consider alternative transportation.
Metro Transit anticipates completion of the project within 3-6 weeks. Once the Alderney Terminal is completed, repairs the Halifax Ferry Terminal are scheduled to begin.
