Dartmouth HRM Greenhouse Doors to Open to the Public

(May 5, 2011) - Now that spring is here, it’s time to get serious about gardening again.

HRM’s gardeners have been busy and are hosting a green open house to show you why. They will be welcoming all local amateur gardeners or anyone interested in knowing how the professionals achieve their great results.

WHEN: Saturday, May 14, 2011 - 9 am -3 pm
WHERE: HRM Greenhouse, 62 Caledonia Road, Dartmouth

HRM cultivates most of the plants and flowers for its parks and open spaces. The region’s Dartmouth greenhouses grow plants for Downtown Dartmouth, Sullivan’s Pond, Bedford green spaces and Sackville Heritage Park amongst others.
On May 14, meet HRM gardeners, ask questions and check out their educational displays.
