HRM Celebrates National Public Works Week: Serving You and Your Community

(Tuesday, May 17, 2011) - Halifax Regional Municipality will celebrate National Public Works Week on Thursday, May 19th by showcasing municipal service equipment to the public.

Ever want to sit aboard a plow truck or see a street sweeper first hand? This is your chance! HRM Transportation and Public Works representatives will be on hand to demonstrate the equipment and explain how municipal services are delivered to the public.

When:   Thursday May 19th (Rain date Friday, May 20th)
Where:  Halifax Forum, 2901 Windsor Street, Almon Street Entrance
Time:     10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
