Grand Opening: Herring Cove and Tantallon Fire Stations

(Friday, June 17, 2011) - The Grand Openings of the new Fire Stations in Herring Cove and Tantallon will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2011.

There will be an official ribbon cutting, tree planting and plaque unveiling. Afterwards, enjoy station tours, a BBQ, cake and refreshments.

What:                  Fire Station Grand Openings

Where & When: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Herring Cove Fire Station #60
                            (40 Latter Pond Lane, Herring Cove) - off Ketch Harbour Road

                            2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Tantallon Fire Station #65
                            (17 Scholars Road, Tantallon) adjacent to Sir John A.               Macdonald High School
