SELECT NATAL DAY EVENTS MOVING TO THE HALIFAX COMMON

(June 21, 2011) - Centrally located on the Halifax peninsula, a number of Alexander Keith’s Natal Day Festival events for 2011 will be relocated to the Halifax Common. Easily accessible by transit and a five minute walk from the downtown core, the Halifax Common Natal Day Festival program will include:

Saturday July 30th:
8:30 - 10:30 am - Pancake Breakfast with special guests, Sponge Bob Square Pants® and children’s entertainers Razzmatazz - Free

Noon - 8:00 pm - Under the Sea Party with Special Guests, Sponge Bob Square Pants and Dora the Explorer®, bouncy castles, and other children’s activities - Free

Sunday July 31st:
2:00 - 5:00 pm - Gospel Concert - in Honour of the United Nations Year of the Person of African Descent - Free

5:00 -9:00 pm- ANSMA Family Concert and Childrens Activities followed by a low level fire works display
