Natural Gas Pipeline Installation - Barrington Street at Cornwallis Street

(June 22, 2011)-- Heritage Gas and its contractor have been installing a natural gas main along Barrington Street just south of Cornwallis Street over the past week. This has resulted in lane reductions during off-peak hours. In order to connect the new main to the existing distribution system, the main must be installed across Cornwallis Street at the intersection with Barrington Street.

Crossing the street will require traffic signals to be turned off on Thursday, June 23rd and Friday, June 24th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Traffic control personnel will be in place. No streets will be closed, although motorists should expect delays during that time, and where possible, plan alternate routes.
