Stillwater Lake Bridge Replacement Begins Monday

(June 29, 2011) Bridge replacement will take place at the Stillwater Lake Bridge on the Hammonds Plains Road starting Monday, July 4, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. and continue until Monday, August 15, 2011.

The project will include a road closure on Hammonds Plains Road, requiring all traffic to be detoured to Flat Lake Drive. Weight restrictions are in place on the Flat Lake Drive Bridge.

Metro Transit will detour using an alternate route during this time. Please check Metro Transit's website for additional information.

Motorists are requested to use posted detour routes. For more information on the construction project, including weight restrictions and a map of the detour, visit www.halifax.ca.
