Kick-off Celebration for Tunes at Noon Summer Concert Series

(Monday, July 11, 2011) - On Wednesday, July 13th, residents are invited to the celebrate the kick-off of the 4th Annual Tunes at Noon Summer Concert Series with free cake right before the first concert in Grand Parade.

The weekly summer concert series features Nova Scotian performers of all genres of music. It will take place every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 12:00 Noon - 1:00 pm in Grand Parade in Halifax. The series will run from July 13 to September 9.

Performances during the first week of the concert series:
July 13 - Marko Simmonds
July 14 - Ria Mae
July 15 - Ruth Minnikin

Tunes at Noon is presented by Premier Presenter Halifax Chamber of Commerce, Councillor Dawn Sloane, Downtown Halifax Business Commission, Centre for Arts and Technology and the Halifax Regional Municipality Cultural Affairs, in association with Music Nova Scotia; and with the support of C100 and The Coast.
