Portion of Birmingham Street Continues as One-way Temporarily
(July 21, 2011) - Motorists in Halifax are again reminded that the block of Birmingham Street between Queen Street and Spring Garden Road has been converted to one-way traffic flow. Ongoing development projects require traffic to travel in the southbound direction only from Queen Street to Spring Garden Road. This is expected to last 15 months.
Temporary traffic control measures are in place to maintain vehicle and pedestrian access. Motorists are urged to use caution, obey the various traffic controls and to expect on-street construction and pedestrian crossing activity when driving through this construction zone.
