Installation Postponed: Stratford Way Park Community Art Project

(Friday, September 30, 2011) - The installation of the community art project for Stratford Way Park scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. has been postponed due to the pending rainy weather. A notice of its rescheduling will be announced early next week.

Artist Julie Adamson Miller has been working with the community to create a large pebble stone mosaic for the newly-redeveloped park, located off Lacewood Drive, Clayton Park (near the Keshen Goodman Library). For the past week Miller has hosted a series of free community art workshops at the Canada Games, 26 Thomas Raddall Drive, Halifax.

The Stratford Way Park Community Art Project is supported by HRM and a community arts grant from the 4Cs Foundation (www.4csfoundation.com).
