HRM Solid Waste facilities closing early today

(Wednesday, November 23, 2011) - Due to the storm and the postponement or delays to today's collection services, all solid waste facilities owned or operated under contract by HRM will close early today.

This impacts the following facilities:

- Otter Lake Waste Management Facility at 600 Otter Lake Dr. will close at 5:00 p.m. today
- Materials Recovery Facility at 20 Horseshoe Lake Dr., New Era Composting Facility at 61 Evergreen Place and Miller Composting Facility at 80 Gloria McCluskey Ave. will close at 3:00 p.m. today
