Groundbreaking Ceremony for Metro Transit’s New Bridge Terminal

(November 24, 2011) - The Honourable Steven Fletcher, Minister of State (Transport), Becky Kent, MLA for Cole Harbour-Eastern Passage, on behalf of the Honourable John MacDonell, Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations, and His Worship Peter Kelly, Mayor of Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), will take part in a groundbreaking ceremony at Metro Transit’s new Bridge Terminal construction site.

Date:  Friday, November 25, 2011
Time:  12:30 p.m.
Place: Metro Transit’s new Bridge Terminal construction site*, 8 Nantucket Avenue, Dartmouth, N.S.

*The event will take place behind the current terminal and the Dartmouth Sportsplex, which are located at the foot of the Macdonald Bridge, stretching between Nantucket Avenue and Thistle Street.
