PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Christmas & New Year’s Solid Waste Collection & Processing Services Notice

(December 20, 2011) - HRM residents are advised that municipal solid waste collection services over the holidays - including Dec. 23, Dec. 26 (Boxing Day), Dec. 30 and Jan. 2 will occur as regularly scheduled.

The Otter Lake Waste Processing and Disposal Facility will be open Dec. 24 and 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Halifax Regional Municipality’s residential Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Depot will be closed Dec. 24 and 31 but will be open on Saturday, Jan. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
