HRM Volunteer Awards Nominations & Ceremony

(Tuesday, January 4th, 2011) - Are there volunteers who are making a difference in your community, church or non-profit? Then take the time to nominate someone for HRM’s Volunteer Awards Ceremony. Each year HRM, The Mayor and Regional Councillors recognize exceptional volunteers and community groups who make outstanding contributions towards strengthening HRM communities. Whether adults, youth or a community group, you can find all you need to nominate a deserving volunteer online at www.halifax.ca/volunteer. The nominations deadline is just around the corner on Friday, January 28th. The Ceremony itself is in April during National Volunteer Week. Nominate someone today!
