Monday, March 25, 2013 – Skating on the Emera Oval started for its second season on Christmas Day and for the past three months has welcomed approximately 130,000 skaters and hosted over 15 events. The Oval closed for the season on Sunday, March 24.
From speedskating events and camps, to carnival nights, family nights and skating under the stars, the Emera Oval greeted crowds of skating enthusiasts who enjoyed more than 80 days on the ice this year.
HRM thanks all those who continue to contribute to the Oval’s success.
