Celebrating HRM youth at the Youth Week Showcase

Thursday, May 2, 2013 (Halifax, NS) - In celebration of National Youth Week and National Youth Arts Week, May 1- May 7, a Youth Week Showcase will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013 to encourage HRM youth to showcase their individual talents.

Youth can participate in the open mic stage, art installations, dance performances, and more.

Date: Saturday, May 4, 2013, 2 -5 p.m.

Where: The Pavilion (Halifax Common), 5156 Cogswell Street, Halifax

Metro Transit bus routes: 6, 7, 18, 20, 80, 82, and 90

Youth wishing to have their art displayed should arrange to drop their artwork off by Thursday, May 2. See the website for contact information and details at www.hrmyouth.ca
