National Public Works Week events for May 23 cancelled

Wednesday, May 22, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – Events planned to take place tomorrow, May 23, at the Halifax Common to celebrate National Public Works Week have been cancelled due to anticipated rainy weather.

The alternate date of May 24 also has rain in the forecast, so the showcase of municipal vehicles and the Velvet Touch competition have both been cancelled. It is unknown at this time if these events will be rescheduled at a later date.
