Natural Gas Pipeline Installation – Herring Cove Road

Tuesday, August 27, 2013 (Halifax, NS) - Beginning Wednesday August 28, a new natural gas main and a service lateral will be installed along Herring Cove Road between Glenora Avenue and Cowie Hill Road.

The pipe installation and subsequent repaving is expected to take approximately one month to complete. During the morning and evening rush hours, one lane in each direction will be open to traffic. If this is not possible, any construction will be limited to the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., traffic may be reduced to one lane.
