Continuing street closures – Queen Street, Clyde Street

Monday September 27, 2013 (Halifax, NS) - HRM is reminding residents that Queen Street from Spring Garden Road to Clyde Street will continue to be closed to motor vehicles, and starting today, Monday, September 30, the road will be closed to pedestrians as well. However, pedestrians may still access the businesses along Queen Street. The closure to vehicles and pedestrians will remain in place until October 4, weather permitting.

As well, Queen Street from Clyde Street to Morris Street, and Clyde Street from Birmingham Street to Queen Street, will also be closed to vehicles until October 4.

The closures will accommodate the ongoing street renewal work in the area surrounding the new Central Library.

HRM apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
