Public consultation on permanent pavilion at Emera Oval

 

Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – HRM citizens are invited to attend a public consultation event this week as part of the ongoing process to establish the Emera Oval as a year round facility on the north Halifax Common.

When: Wednesday, February 13, 7-9 p.m.

Where: Atlantica Hotel, 1980 Robie Street, Halifax

HRM and DSRA Architecture will host a hands-on workshop aimed at generating ideas for the character and use of a permanent building onsite. Participants will learn about similar civic projects and work in groups to explore how best to use and organize this public space. The evening will conclude with a summary discussion addressing common interests and themes.
