Free activities at HRM community recreation centres to celebrate Recreation Day, June 1

Thursday, May 30, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – To celebrate Recreation Day on Saturday, June 1, over 20 HRM community recreation centres and multi-district facilities will be offering free recreation activities.

Free activities include family yoga in the park in Musquodoboit Valley, youth softball in Lakeside, a community walk in Fall River, Zumba classes in Cole Harbour, and access to weight rooms in many of the recreation centres.
