Road Construction - Hines Road and Main Road, Shearwater

Friday, June 14, 2013 (Halifax, NS) - Beginning Monday, June 17th, road construction will take place on Hines Road and Main Road (between Hines Road and Howard Avenue) in Shearwater as part of a Halifax Water sewer upgrade project.

Hines Road will be closed between Main Road and Autoport Avenue 24 hours a day for five days. Two lanes are expected to be maintained at all times on Main Road, and no on street work will take place on Main Road between the hours of 7 a.m. - 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Road users are encouraged to find alternate routes where possible and to proceed with caution through the work zone.

Halifax Water and HRM apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
