Solar City program official launch and ribbon-cutting ceremony

Thursday, April 18, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – On Tuesday, April 23, Mayor Mike Savage and the Honourable Charlie Parker, Minister of Energy, will join Dr. Peter Allen, owner of Thermo Dynamics, and the HRM Solar City team at the home of Ron Josey to officially launch the program by showcasing the first system installed as part of the Solar City Program.

Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, media are invited to tour the home to view the features of a typical solar thermal system installation.

When: Tuesday, April 23 at 9:45 a.m.

Where: 6 Tobin Drive in Dartmouth (residential home in Westphal area)
