Street closure – Barrington Street between Duke Street and George Street 

Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – High winds prevented the planned closure of a portion of Barrington Street last Sunday, Jan. 20. The closure was to facilitate the replacement of equipment on the roof of a building along Barrington Street. The contractor will proceed with the closure as planned this Sunday, Jan. 27 (weather-permitting).

The crane setup to facilitate the lift will require the closure of Barrington Street between Duke St. and George St. on Sunday, Jan. 27 between 9 a.m. and  7 p.m. The closure will affect all road users, motorists, cyclists and pedestrians. All users are encouraged to use alternate routes.

HRM apologizes in advance for any inconvenience these delays may cause.
