Street closure – Barrington Street between Duke Street and George Street 

Thursday, March 14, 2013 (Halifax, NS) –On Sunday, March 17, equipment on the roof of a building along Barrington Street will be replaced. The crane setup to facilitate this lift will require a closure on Barrington Street between Duke Street and George Street this Sunday, between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. This work was originally scheduled to take place last Sunday, March 10, but did not proceed due to high winds.

The closure will affect motorists, cyclists and pedestrians. All road users are encouraged to use alternate routes.

This work is weather-dependent. HRM apologizes in advance for any inconvenience these delays may cause.
