Cheer on the Halifax Mooseheads from the Grand Parade

Monday, May 6, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – HRM is inviting residents to cheer on the Halifax Mooseheads from the Grand Parade this Tuesday and Wednesday night. Bring the whole family to the Grand Parade to watch games three and four of the Quebec Major Junior League Championship final series between the Halifax Mooseheads and the Baie-Comeau Drakkar on the big screen.

Dates: Tuesday, May 7 and Wednesday, May 8

Time: 8 p.m. (puck drops at 8:30 p.m.)

Where: Grand Parade, Argyle Street, Halifax

Citizens are encouraged to bring their own folding chairs to watch the game.

Metro Transit will be providing special shuttle bus service for citizens attending the event from both Alderney Gate and the Mumford Terminal to and from Barrington and Duke streets (near Grand Parade). Shuttles will start at 7 p.m. both nights and continue on a load and go basis until the event begins. Following the games, shuttles will depart Barrington and Duke to return citizens back to Alderney Gate and Mumford Terminal. Regular transit fares apply.
