Late night Alderney ferry service resumes June 17

Wednesday, June 12, 2013 (Halifax, NS) – Metro Transit will resume late night Alderney ferry service on Monday, June 17, following Regional Council’s approval during the 2013-14 budget and business planning process. Beginning June 17, the Alderney ferry will operate on the following schedule:

Weekdays:
6:30 a.m. - First trip departs Alderney Ferry Terminal
6:45 a.m. - First trip departs Halifax Ferry Terminal
7 - 9:30 a.m. (every 15 minutes)
9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (every 30 minutes)
1:30 - 6:30 p.m. (every 15 minutes)
6:30 p.m. - 12 a.m.* (every 30 minutes)
*Last trip departs Halifax Ferry Terminal at 11:45 p.m.

Saturdays:
6:30 a.m. - 12 a.m.* (every 30 minutes)
*Last trip departs Halifax Ferry Terminal at 11:45 p.m.

Sundays:
11 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.* (every 30 minutes)
*Last trip departs Halifax Ferry Terminal at 6:15 p.m.

Holidays:
7:30 a.m. - 12 a.m. (every 30 minutes)
*Last trip departs Halifax Ferry Terminal at 11:45 p.m.
