Accessibilty Advisory Committee to host 3rd annual town hall meeting

Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Accessibility Advisory Committee of Council is inviting residents to attend its 3rd annual Town Hall Meeting on Accessibility being held on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Accessibility Advisory Committee members and municipal staff representing various programs and services will be on hand to listen to resident feedback on accessibility, and provide information to help address challenges in getting around the region and navigating municipally-owned facilities.

Bedford Hammonds Plains Community Centre
202 Innovation Drive, Bedford

When:
Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014
6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Sign language interpreters and sighted guides will be available. The community centre is also wheelchair accessible.

For residents travelling to the meeting by public transit, a complementary shuttle bus will be provided by Metro Transit following the meeting from the Community Centre to the Mumford Transit Terminal.
