Committee of the Whole Meeting Scheduled for Tomorrow is Cancelled

Tuesday, Jan. 21 (Halifax, NS) – The Committee of the Whole budget deliberations meeting that was scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 10 a.m. in Council Chambers has been cancelled in anticipation of the bad weather.

Environment Canada has issued a blizzard warning for much of Nova Scotia for Wednesday, with snow expected to begin falling in most areas in the overnight hours. Forecasts are calling for as much as 30 centimetres in some areas, with high winds and blowing snow impacting visibility on the roads.

The meeting will be rescheduled at a later date and the public will be advised when that date is determined.
