Continuing Night Road Construction - Lady Hammond Road

Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that due to unforeseen circumstances, crews will need to continue working overnight tonight, Aug. 20, to replace a water main on Lady Hammond Road at the corner of Commission Street in Halifax.

This work will begin at 6 p.m. and continue through the night until about 6 a.m. There will be stop-and-go-traffic during those hours. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes, if possible.

The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
