Natural Gas Pipeline Installation - Sackville Street

Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that work will begin on Monday, Dec. 8, to extend the natural gas main on Sackville Street between Granville and Barrington streets in Halifax.

Crews will be on site starting at 9 a.m. until about 4 p.m. One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times during this work. The pipe installation and restoration are expected to take approximately one week.

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
